The fascination of mythology: it talks about something happened in a legendary past, but also happening every day. It talks about powers and forces exhisting this very moment in everyone of us, in every place of this planet, in every culture and period.
These forces are called archetypes.
In this cycle of meetings we will hear the voice of classical goddesses and women. Most of them had a very important part in a great story, but the camera followed the main hero somewhere else.
Every woman is linked to a trait of our personality and we will use the archetype to unravel a mythical story which is our own, to explore our mind in connection with the others.
A very challenging inner work to let the goddess within speak.

N.B.: these workshops revolves around feminine figures, but it is highly recommended the presence of men.
It is necessary to book before May 20 2015.

During our meetings we will:
° meet the goddess and listent to her
° discuss the myth and translate it into our modern world
° experience the core topic with practical activities
° share ourselves with the others
° go back home with new eyes.

May 24th 2015 – Beauty and Medusa

Choosing Afrodite, goddess of beauty and love, would be too easy.
To talk about beauty, about the way we perceive ourselves and the others, I needed a woman wounded because considered a monster.
Who is Medusa, in truth? What is the Medusa inside of us?

May 31st 2015 – Penelope and Procrastination

Penelope is symbol of loyalty and perseverance.
Today we have the possibility to hear her true story: when she wanted to pursue a plan but she found herself destroying what she had achieved, when she doubted her strength many times.
It is about the fear to fail and the pressure to succeed.

June 07th 2015 – Ariadne and Trust

In the myth of the Minotaur (legendary monster half-man, half-bull) trapped in the labyrinth, the “hero” Theseus uses Ariadne’s thread to kill the monster. Then she abandons her.
What happened to Ariadne, then? What happens to us when our trust is betrayed so painfully that is hard to trust again?

Everybody is jealous. Thinking that we may lose something of great personal value can give different responses. Sometime our first reaction is enclosing the object of our love.
We have the power to see when our jealousy is becoming a cage for somebody, including ourselves.

June 20st 2015 – Eris and Revenge

When Eris tossed the golden apple on that table full of deities, she didn’t think she would unleash a terrible chain of events. That’s what happens when revenge blinds our brain.
It is about grudge, about forgiveness and about taking revenge in a new, unexpected way.

Il fascino della mitologia: parla di qualcosa accaduto in un leggendario passato ma che accade anche ogni giorno. Narra di forze che esistono in questo stesso momento in noi, in ogni luogo di questo pianeta, in ogni cultura.
Queste forze sono chiamate archetipi.
In questa serie di incontri ascolteremo le voci di donne e dee: molte di loro sono state fondamentali nella storia, ma poi il regista ha seguito l’eroe principale da qualche altra parte. Cosa scopriremmo se ci focalizzassimo invece su di loro?
Ognuna è legata ad un aspetto della nostra personalità e useremo questi archetipi per svelare una storia mitica che è anche nostra, per esplorare le nostre menti in connessione con le altre, per imparare dal mito attingendo dal suo straordinario potere.
Un lavoro interiore per lasciar parlare la dea che è in noi.

In ogni appuntamento:
° incontreremo la dea e la ascolteremo
° discuteremo il mito e lo tradurremo nel nostro mondo moderno
° faremo esperienza dell’argomento principale con attività pratiche
° condivideremo noi stessi con gli altri partecipanti
° torneremo a casa con occhi nuovi.

N.B. Questi workshop sono dedicati alle donne ma la presenza di uomini è benvenuta.
